Crumpled Paper Art & Creative Writing Magazine is a UofT student-run publication that features sketches, paintings, graphic art, photography, poetry, short stories, comics, articles and more. Distributed two times a year, the magazine also provides a creative community where students of diverse backgrounds and talents can come together to get their arty on.
For each issue, the CP crew is given a "topic" that can take a variety of forms. This topic is meant to be a point of departure for the staff to run with. Its sole purpose is to get the synapses in their right cerebral cortexes firing! They interpret the topic however they wish (as literally or metaphorically as they please), perhaps undergoing a multitude of transformations along the way. Everyone will thus have a common starting point, but their inspirations will (hopefully) be vastly different.
Iron Kross
Crumpled Paper's Mascots, the Iron Kross band, were featured on the cover of our very first issue, as well as in bookmarks distributed during F!rosh Week's Meet the Clubs event 2004 and 2005. If you missed out on these useful pieces of eye candy, you can view the band members below.
